The Local Community
The Parish of South Chatham incorporates three communities - Walderslade Village, Lordswood and Blue Bell Hill. Each have differing local facilities and different focal points as communities. Each has a worship centre and minister as part of the Parish Team.
A range of information about the communities can be found on the Walderslade On-Line website (although some of the links on the site are redundant) as well as the Lordswood Leisure Centre's website and Lordswood on UKVillages.co.uk.
In both Walderslade and Lordswoood you can find a wide range of shops and services from Estate Agents and supermarkets to kitchen fitters and video hire.
Blue Bell Hill is a picturesque area noted for its picnic site and pcnic site. The little church in the village is a favourite venue for local weddings.
